Experience alone is not enough

Job experience is a valuable asset, but it is not everything. Experience alone is not a key to growth. There must be an observable improvement or development on the part of the employee from year to year.

Experience alone will not enable us to face new challenges, to confront new and unexpected problems. It is only through our creative efforts, through our desire to learn more, to develop our skills beyond narrow confines of our jobs, that we can ensure confidence in facing the uncertain road ahead of us.
